DESCRIPTION: Granite & Slate Sealer and Enhancer, is a sealer formulated to provide maximum stain resistance & also enhance & highlight porous unsealed surfaces.
USES: UNSEALED Porous Natural Stone, such as granite and slate work surfaces, sills, and back-splashes as well as hearths or any stone surface where an enhanced look & maximum stain resistance is desired
PRECAUTIONS:
1. ALWAYS TEST FIRST;
2. Read entire web & label instructions & the product technical data sheet before using;
3. Wear appropriate skin and eye protection & use in a well-ventilated area;
4. The surface must be clean & completely DRY and free from any other sealers &coatings;
5. Use when the surface temperature is between 4°C & 32°C;
6. Once a surface has been enhanced, it cannot be restored to the original look.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Sweep, vacuum, or wipe the surface;
2. Apply product using a sealer applicator, paint pad, or cotton towels;
3. After 5-10 minutes, remove any sealer visible on the surface by wiping the surface COMPLETELY DRY with absorbent paper or cotton towels. DO NOT ALLOW THE
PRODUCT TO DRY ON THE SURFACE; 4. If 2 or more coats are required, allow a minimum.
30 minutes between coats (maximum 2 hours) and follow label instructions for each coat; 5. Keep surface dry for 12 hours.
COVERAGE: Approximately 20 to 40m2 per litre per coat depending on the nature of the material.
HANDLING AND STORAGE:
• Close the container tightly after each use. Store in original container only. • Store and use in temperatures between 4°C and 32°C.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. May cause stomach distress, nausea or vomiting. May cause respiratory tract irritation.
FIRST AID: If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continuously with running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by the Poisons Information Centre or a Doctor or for at least 15 minutes.
If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. In case of an accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.
